The upgrade advisor says that Vista might not have drivers for this andto loook on manfactures web site for updated drivers, but it looks like Inprocomm haven't been in business since 2005.
Will Vista stop this wireless device from working?

INPROCOMM IPN2220 Wireless LAN Card
I've also got this wireless card. I'm reading in other forums this card was supported in Beta 1 and now missing from Beta 2.

I've got this card too. Seeing online that Beta 1 supported, Beta 2 dropped it.

found it!
go to www.driverguide.com and searh for the INP2220. The latest version, aug. 20 2005 seems to work with Vista. I had to run install, then update in device manager and browse the driver folder of the unzipped file.
Still, would be great for MS to support it. Scary that when drivers just drop out on hardware that's in lots of machines.

If these posts are duplicated, it's not me. System keeps telling me there's a problem posting, and to try later!
I can't find the driver you mention. There's lots with a release date of Aug 30, but none with 20th Aug.

You can get a direct replacement for the IPN2220, Acer part #ki-cax01-005 is based on the Intel IP2200.
You can buy one at http://www.impactcomputers.com/ki-cax01-005.html for 59.95.
I installed mine in about 4 minutes and it works flawlessly. The activate/deactivate button works and has Vista drivers on the Intel website.
